The decentralised purchasing organisation serves to secure a continuous flow of material and strengthening production by providing high quality and cost effective purchasing. Additionally, the purchasing department is responsible for evaluating existing suppliers, and for the creation of new supplier partnerships. Within the company, decentralised purchasing is organised in accordance with the Lead Buyer Concept.
