CLAAS uses a pooling system to manage its standard reusable containers. The service provider sprintBOX, Grettstadt (D), makes them for CLAAS and all its suppliers available. To administrate the containers the Internet-based platform www.sprintBOX.de is used.
sprintBox is based on a circulation of reusable and standardised container systems, mainly R-KLT van VDA 4700. The suppliers request online the empty containers from the nearest container warehouse of our service provider sprintBOX. The containers are loaded with products and the full containers are forwarded to the goods recipient CLAAS. After CLAAS has used all products the empty containers are forwarded to the nearest cleaning depot of sprintBOX.
